Our MissionWe provide foundations and nonprofit organizations with fresh ideas, tools, and strategies
to help them articulate their vision for change, and understand their role in creating
social impact. Our work is dedicated to increasing communication and reflection in the
sector in order to enhance its overall impact. We are committed to building a bridge
between nonprofits and grantmakers so that they are working collaboratively together, aligning their strategies, and achieving shared outcomes. Our Approach Our work, focused in the areas of strategy and evaluation, is shaped by three primary convictions:People need to begin from a place of vision and hope. Individuals who work in the nonprofit sector are motivated by a deep commitment to
change. Our processes begin by allowing people to articulate the impact they want to see
and then makes that vision central to subsequent planning or evaluation efforts.Organizational stakeholders know best what their organization needs. We believe that our value as external consultants is to act as facilitators who can bring forward the wisdom resident in committed stakeholders. All strategy and evaluation work should serve to foster organizational
development and learning. With all our clients, we strive to create the maximum conditions for organizational
learning. Our hope is to reinforce the cyclical nature of planning, doing, and learning—
and planning again.
