Susie Quern Pratt, Principal of Pratt Richards Group, offers her clients
a range of training and consultation services with an emphasis on impact  evaluation. Having worked within both grantmaking and nonprofit organizations, she enjoys thinking about innovative ways to foster dialogue and problem-solving within the sector.

Susie has served as an instructor in
the area of evaluation, and currently teaches workshops for the Donors Forum of Chicago and, with Jenny, for the Association of Small Foundations. She designed and implemented an evaluation coaching program for the Lilly Endowment, and many of these ideas and practices continue to guide her work.

Susie holds a B.A. from Colgate University with Honors in English Literature and an A.M. from the University of Chicago’s School of Social Service Administration. Susie is currently on the board of Family Matters as well
as the Franklin Square Foundation.
She is also involved with the Project on
Civic Reflection, where she facilitates conversations to help philanthropic groups talk together in new ways.

Jenny Ellis Richards, Principal of Pratt Richards Group, has provided evaluation and strategic planning services to a wide range of nonprofit and philanthropic organizations. She began her career teaching and leading programs for community-based social service organizations, and continues to
have a strong passion for helping organizations create social change.

Prior to founding Pratt Richards Group with Susie, Jenny spent five years as an independent consultant — conducting large-scale evaluations and strategic planning initiatives, coaching organizations to develop internal planning and evaluation systems, and providing training on impact evaluation.

Jenny holds a B.A. in Spanish from Dartmouth College and a Masters of Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. She is currently on the board of the Crysdahl Foundation, a small family foundation in Milwaukee, as well as the Evanston Community Defender Office, a nonprofit providing legal and social services to low income youth and their families. She is a 2009-2010 Leadership Evanston Fellow.
